Peter started practicing Iyengar yoga in 2000. After many years of working in construction, he was drawn to yoga to help with stress and stiffness in his knees. The stiffness in his knees healed quickly, and stress too abated, as yoga became increasingly integral in his life.
Through his teaching, Peter hopes to help others receive the benefits of yoga in their lives. He has completed the 2 year teacher training course (TTC 2005-6) with Eddy Marks and Mary Obendorfer.
He completed his teacher in training IYNAUS assessment in 2009. That same year he studied with the Iyengars in Pune, India. In 2011, he completed his introductory IYNAUS assessment, and is now working toward his Junior 1 teaching level.
